Lab break - (Nov/19/2006 )
no doubt it was the blocking solution from western blots
So tell us, what kind of flavour does BSA give to coffee?
I figure if most reagents are pure enough to use in vitro, its good enough for in vivo.
For creamer you would use Carnation non fat dry milk bought from the grocer. Not BSA.

Hi perneseblue,
Have you try it?
That recipe sounds absolutely revolting!
I don't care how good for you it may be!
Have you try it?
thank goodness, no. Never touched it. But I would be most happy if some brave and fool hardy soul decided to give this recipie and protocol a go. It has body, salt, glutamate, and it is sweat too!
I guess from the fact that he is able to begin this thread shows (or should i say "suggests") that he survived the lab glucose and blocking solution coffee.

Only 5ml Ethanol per 1 liter of "shake"???? That doesn't seem quite right to me.
There is a rule about not to eat or drink in the lab... Only exception to that rule is EtOH. ![]()
Remember to only drink the 95% EtOH. The absolute ethanol contains benzene, which is both bad for you and tastes bad.
