Hi, I was reading some paper about stem cell from dental tissues, and came across with several populations of such cells. I read some more paper but the difference is still not clear, so does anyone can explain the difference of the following MSC-like cells?
‘post-natal dental pulp stem cells’ (DPSCs)
stem cells from exfoliated deciduous teeth (SHED)
periodontal ligament stem cells (PDLSCs)
stem cells from apical papilla (SCAP)
‘dental follicle precursor cells’ (DFPCs)
I am especially curious about the difference between DPSCs and SHEDs.
Thanks in advance
