cytosine methylation stability

Anyone have any idea how stable cytosine methylation in vivo is when subjected to environmental insults? What product it converts to over time? I assume it deaminates into thymidine? Any idea how long that it takes under which conditions?

Spin columns with bisulfite conversion

Hi,

The Qiagen Epitect kit comes with 48 spin columns and enough bisulfite conversion reagents for 60 conversions (6x10 samples). Has anyone tried using the protocol on other spin columns?
