Greetings,
I'm attempting to determine relative telomere length (RTL) using Dako's Telomere PNA Kit <http://www.dako.com/...d_products.htm> and am having trouble understanding what the term DNA index means. The formula for RTL on Page 9 of the protocol <http://www.dako.com/...ctid=114791002> requires the DNA index of my control & sample cells. The ratio of aneuploid/euploid appears to be what "DNA index" refers to. Is this correct?
Earlier in the protocol I'm told to gate for G0/1 cells [using a FL-A vs FL-W plot]. If I've already gated for all the 2C cells, why does the formula require DNA index? This seems redundant to me, but I'm probably just misunderstanding something.
Thanks everyone!
