Hi All,
I am actually working on the concept maps of an inflammatory disease ... I wanted to use private.molecularconceptmaps.org website for this purpose. But, I had problems in registering for the website.
It may be weird to ask ... but
Its a request to all, to help me by giving the username and password for this website (private.molecularconcepts.org/).
This is really required for me to check the gene associations to the inflammatory disease and so that I can generate a network.
I will use that purely for my research work and judiciously.
Thanks in advance
With Regards

Suggest best protocol for Adenosine deaminase activity
02 December 2012 - 03:04 AM
Hi all!
Can any one suggest me the best method to estimate the activity of adenosine deaminase in the blood.
How we can measure its activity on adenosine ... one way is to know the amount of ammonia being produced,,,
one of the articles I referred did a spec at 630 nm and quantified the ADA activity using Bertholet Method.
But, it did not work good for me ... I got all fluctuated results.. I took care of GLP ... but, I am helpless.

What can be a Perfect Control sample for a Rheumatoid arthritis study?
20 August 2012 - 09:14 PM
Dear All,
I am doing a retrospective study on Rheumatoid arthritis ... say screening the databases for specific tests like RA factor, CRP and ESR, etc. But, to compare with the conrols ... what should be perfect control for the RA study?
Can it be a sample without the symptoms ( according to ACR ) or can it be any other disease other than RA in the whole gamut of rheumatic diseases. I know that the control should be age matched, gender matched, and also ethnicity matched. But, which group of the patients or people can be taken as controls?
Please help me with this ...
Thank you.
