Mass-spectrometry of membrane proteins

Can somebody point me to a an easy protocol to prepare membrane protein for MALDI analysis? It is inserted into lipid liposomes and I would like to do tryptic digestion. .The problem is that trypsin fails to reach hydrophobic regions.
