Has anyone found a good alternative to Whatman's Anodisc 0.02µ filters. Whatman is currently experiencing problems and does not and will not have these for some time (I am told). Right now I am trying to use 0.03µ Nuclepore (Whatman) filters and not having any luck. We asked for a few to test and it seemed to be working just fine so I ordered a box. Now the filter is binding so much stain (SYBR Green) I cannot see the VLP's or bacteria.
Does anyone have any suggestions.
