Trying to express fusion protein. I have searched ATCC extensively. Just need a simple answer- which is preferred, easiest to work with?
Thanks!
CHO or VERO?

both are easy to work with, and should be fine for this sort of thing. Having said that, if you want to purify the protein, express it in bacteria.

Thanks Bob,
I have tired to express in bacteria and have had little luck. Granted I have not tried too hard. It is a small, highly folded protein. We have made modifications to avoid signal cleavage and secretion. I have performed Westerns on cells and sup (just in case it was secreted). Hoping all mammalian cells will work better for expression.
