Hi everyone,

I have been trying to precipitate collagen type 1 fragments from my cell culture supernatants to get a higher concentration that will work better for a collagen ELISA. When I try to resuspend the protein pellet in RIPA buffer after TCA/acetone precipitation, it won't dissolve at all. It's a bit gummy for lack of a better word and won't dissolve even with heating, sonication, and vortexing. Help!!! :(
