Just wonder if i freeze my whole blood containing tri-reagent in -80 for about 1 or 2 months can cause degradation of rna or poorer quality? can't isolate from fresh due to certain unavoidable reason. thanks.

That should be fine.  RNA is stable at -80, and tri-reagent inhibits RNAse activity.  I store tissue in trizol at -80 all the time.
