My name is Ana and I am a marine biologist. I'm currently doing my PhD in Brussels, Belgium.
I love to travel and now I could have the opportunity to explore Antarctica!!!! So, I'm participating in a contest organized by Quarck Expeditions called BLOG YOUR WAY TO ANTARCTICA. If you're interested in helping me, please visit "my page" and if you feel like it, vote for me!

Also, I'm counting on you to help me spread the word: tell your friends, colleagues, neighbours... you name it!
Cheers and thanks everybody in advance!

Seems strange to come to belgium for such thing.

The frites are fantastic as well! And, living in Brussels also gives me the opportunity taste food from everywhere, since it's such an international city. This variety is just great!
Cheers

Very interesting.
At what lab are you working then? Or you are only working for the university?
And Belgian weather, well yeah, you gotta be belgian to love it
And you havent tasted a belgian waffle then? You are in brussel, you should then try the Brussel waffle.

2. The person who has more votes wins... And people can vote one time per valid email.
The festival is every 2 years. It was this year... so now only in 2011! And it only lasts a few days, because the flowers die after that. But it's beautiful, worth to be seen.
Cheers

You sure seem to know your way around in brussels.
You are from belgium? Worked there or?

Well, brussels isnt that nice. The touristic part is still ok, but once outside that... a lot of dirty streets, unpleasant places, dangerous places...
3 countries?
Well, some want to split yeah, but 2 parts the: flemish and france part ...
Well never happen, I think and hope.
Belgium is allready small enough.
