Woo! Canada. Which part?
I've just come to the end of seven sh**y weeks of mouse work - only to find out the cells I was given to inject didn't have any signal in them to begin with. I've been telling people for weeks now there was a problem with the luciferase, and people looked at me like I was weird. It was the mouse apocalypse. It was mousey hell. It was mouse-agedon.
And yesterday I was in a rear-end accident (bicycle style). Big bike (the dutch one's with a wooden seat for a couple of children in the front) stopped in front of me, she was turning, but there was traffic in the other bike lane. I stopped, because I couldn't go around her. The bike behind me did not stop. Hit my bike, and I launched forward into big bike turned to avoid hitting her and her kids and ended up with a bung knee. I should have said something, beside "OMG my knee."
Then at home I mistook the second-last stair for the last stair, and ended up on the floor.
TGIF.
