Hi Guys,

Quick ponceau question. I was running behind yesterday when i started my western and didn't have a chance to ponceau stain it before i did my blocking step overnight. Is there any chance I can still stain it after I strip the membrane of my first set of primary/secondary antibodies and get an idea about the protein per lane or will the blocking obscure that?

Thanks.

blocking will obscure. Ponceau binds to protein and you use protein for blocking...
