Hello,

I was reading a protocol to prepare cell lysates to be analyzed by 2D-electrophoresis.  The protocol describes spiking of the lysate with beta-lactoglobulin A.  Is this step necessary? and how does it help?

Best,
Tarun

My mistake...they were spiking it with beta-lactoglobulin to detect and see if their method actually differentiates between control and spiked samples (it was an exp)

How do I delete a topic?

Best,
TC
