Hi there!

I was wondering whether someone has experience in how to check experimentally (and easily) whether a given protein is able to ubiquitinate histones?

Thank you very much!

cheers!

I don't have any experience in this but can you overexpress your protein in an appropriate cell line and use an anti-ubiquitin antibody to show that there is an increase in histone ubiquitination?

(Not sure if this is a valid idea or not??)
