I am looking for a simple and quick method to extract total protein from plant material.  I need a buffer, detergent etc.  I am not a plant person, any suggestions would be appreicated!

I think the most simple method is TCA/Acetone which appear in <<electrophoresis>> 1986 ,7,52-54

another is phenol method(sorry ,I forget it)
