I treat cell with palmitate acid which was diluted with BSA. After I do western blot, there is always strong band between 50kD and 75 kD(my 1st Ab is about 50kD).It seems it is BSA band not my target protein because I use the cell without any treatment as negative control, there is no band at all.Does anybody met the similar problem? What's the effect of BSA on protein expression and how to avoid its effect.Thanks a lot.
