My boss purchased Lamin A/C siRNA positive control (link) intogether with my other siRNA reagent. However when i went through the dharmacon website, i found that this positive control is not essential for cell survival. So i could not know the transfecacy by just observing the phenotype of cells.

If i would like to use this Lamin A/C positive control, is RT-PCR or western-blot my only way to check for my transfecacy? :)
