Good afternoon, all

I wonder if ethanol leaves a residue after it evaporates. I wanna wash a recipient with ethanol so I can use it to place DEPC treated water for a reaction to purify my PCR products.
Any thoughts? Is it feasible?

I don't know what you mean with recipient?
But if something is completely dry after washing it with pure ethanol, there won't be anything left...

Ethanol should not leave a residue, if it is pure enough. However, if you do not dry your sample well enough after ethanol washing, you will have problems in reactions downstream of the extraction.
