Why would an anti-rabbit Ab work against a sheep primary? You need some anti-sheep secondary...

For sheep antibodies, anti-goat immunoglobulin (eg rabbit anti-goat IgG) usually work very well. You probably have a suitable reagent hanging around in your lab.

Hope this helps

Sheep and goat immunoglobulins show a high degree of homology, so an anti-goat or anti-sheep conjugate should work.
Companies that produce primary antibodies in goats or sheep normally supply suitable secondaries.
