Hi all,
has anybody had experience with the Lysyl Oxidase enzyme aka LOX? It seems very hard to visualise with western blot. Moreover there is a great dispute about the primary antibodies currently available that they are not sensitive enough, non sprecific binding etc. I am using PVDF and a standard protocol that i know that it works. There are a few publications out there that show good western blots of LOX but they are oly a few and also they say that LOX is notoriously hard to visualise with western blots.
Any background info on that? Any primaries that you know that they work good?? Any tips on reducing non specific binding?
