Can fixed angle centrifuge rotors be used to spin down cultured epithelial cells? If so are any changes in normal speeds/times necessary? I currently use 220g for 4 mins in a swinging bucket system but will shortly be moving labs so will only have access to a fixed angle system temporarily.

They should be OK, you might want to slow the acceleration (dw - delta omega) a bit though
