I was hoping someone could tell me what transfection agent to use when administering siRNAs to a DRG primary culture.

Moreover, could someone send me their siRNA protocol for primary neural culture.

You may try using nucleofection. It gives very good transfection efficiency but rather expensive and require a dedicated machine called nucleofector. Also, if your cells are very sensitive, the viability may be low, even though usually it will not.

Or you may try using Interferin. This one is not specific for neural cells but it is mild to cells and cheaper than Nucleofection.
