effect of expired ELISA kit

Hi just wonder whether i still can use the expired ELISA kit after one or two month from its expiry date? thanks

In my experience it should be okay as long as the antibodies have been stored properly.
If you are not sure, and have precious samples might be better to just order one. But if you can check this kit with some "not so important" samples, or you have enough sample to repeat the ELISA if need to, I'll give it a try. ELISA kits are expensive.

Be careful with the standard. If it is partially degraded, you will overestimate the concentration of your sample.
If one or two antibodies do not work, you will realize it immediately, but be careful with the standard.
