Can any body share their protocol or provide me a link to read how to estimate transgene copy numebr?

I have never done it but understand that it can be done by southern blot or real time PCR. Real time PCR seems to be less cumbersome.

I have never done real time PCR as well but use PCR very often in my project.

Thanks for your help!

had also to quantify vetor/particle in my transfection experiments! think this is right, but should be confirmed!! see attachment. with that you can form a standard curve with a vector stock (e.g. 50ng/reaction) -> you know how many copies you have in 50ng...
