2 weeks in same cage . . no luck :)

wat about some axe effect??!!! :P

Keep at it! Sometimes it takes more than two weeks. It is standard mouse colony practice to give a pair or group a full 2 MONTHS to produce a litter before giving up.

How old are your mice, again?

I found the mouse pregnant today :)

Now

At this point either pull two females at the same time and put them in a new cage, or house them separately. Give them plenty of nesting material and, if possible, a paper or plastic house for inside the cage. These environmental enrichment items provide a more natural environment that keeps the mice happy & productive.

Thank you FungusDream

OK, it seems like the mother killed all the pups <_<

Keep at it! It's not really uncommon for a female to cannibalize her first litter.

Does she have some kind of nesting material?

I'm new to this mouse breeding too. How long should I wait until the pups are weaned? I've heard between 15-28 days???

yeah, generally about 21 days. I've heard there are some good systems out there that will send you reminders when its time to wean. mLIMS is one.

Depends on the strain. Standard mouse strains like B6 wean around 20-21 days. Knockout strains are often 21-23 days or longer.

Here's some great pics of happy lab mice! This is what environmental enrichment should be!
