Can any body share their protocol or provide me a link to read how to estimate transgene copy numebr?

I have never done it but understand that it can be done by southern blot or real time PCR. Real time PCR seems to be less cumbersome.

I have never done real time PCR as well but use PCR very often in my project.

Thanks for your help!

I have been trying to get my Southern blot to work for a while  So I looked up the RT- PCR way and found this link. Maybe you can look through it. I am not planning to buy the kit, but to use my GFP primers. Maybe you could work out something similar ;)
