Doing transient expression transfecting a plasmid in HEK293:
What is the best time after transfection to do RNA extraction and RT-PCR to detect the mRNA of the gen in the plasmid?

And what is the minimum time?? Do you think after 24 h I could detect easily the mRNA???

I would say the best time frame is around 48 hrs. The minimum time is less than 24 hrs. This can be told by transfecting a GFP plasmid.
