Hi all,
I am doing a study of infliximab. Does anyone know, where I can get the actual sequence of the molecule.
Thanks for your info.
Cheers,
Miha

It is an antibody - do you mean the protein sequence of the antibody molecule or the epitope sequence?

The protein sequence. Or at least the variable regions, so I could compare them with other Ig sequences.

The variable regions will probably be patented or have some other commercial secret sort of thing on them. They may also not have been sequenced, but you could try asking the producers of the antibody.

@klinmed
I have the article, but they don't state the sequence. I also checked out a patent application US5698195 by Junming Le, Jan Vilček, Peter Daddona, John Ghrayeb, David Knight and Scott Siegel. There is a sequence which is supposedly the sequence of a variable region, but I am not sure it is actually the right one. That is why I asked if someone has access to a registry of therapeutical molecules to see if it is the right sequence.
Thank you all for your suggestions.
