Hi,
has anyone experience with DNA storage on autoclaved whatman filter? How long DNA will be stable?
There are a lot commerical available products, where the filter paper is treated with compounds to stabilize DNA or lyse biological samples and I'm wondering whether these compounds are really necessary.

Hey,

We regularly send DNA on filter paper dics and till 15 days it is fine for sure but should be stable for a longer period.
