Hi all, I recently started doing some experiments on mice where you make a small full-thickness skin wound and then prevent the wound from contracting by suturing a small silicone hoop around the injury. I've never done animal work before and I am concerned that the 'construct' is making the mice uncomfortable - they scratch a lot. I was wondering whether anyone had tips on making the lives of the mice a bit more pleasant.
