Hi all,
I´ve heard great stuff from the new GenCarrier transfection reagent, so I got a free sample to test it on my HUVEC cells. I´ve gotten almost no toxicity, which is great, but I get absolutely no GFP transfection. I´ve tried the recommended DNA/reagent combinations, use serum free and antibiotic free medium, no PBS. I´ve left the transfection mixture as long as 16 hours and I still don´t see anything. Is there anybody who has successfully transfected these cells with GenCarrier that can give me a detailed protocol? I´d really appreciate it.
Thanks!

Try lipofactamine 2000. Its toxic but at least works.

Thanks, genehunter, I´ve tried it and it does work, but I really need a less toxic reagent!
