You can go to Labarmor.com and click on the green bubble that says "Test Drive the New Beads" and they will give you enough to replace your aluminum heat block. Needless to say they are an excellent alternative to water baths.

Well I ordered them 6 monthes ago and never recieved anything

I got mine in a matter of 2 days! I use them for cooling and store them at -80C. They are cool!

I have these, too. They work great in my heat block. I wish I could afford them for my waterbath.

Thanks for posting.. I've been trying to make something similar myself, since my freezer-space is right by my workbench, but the ice supply is waaay down the hall.. I'm looking forward to using the beads as an alternative to ice.
