If you don't know it, then ask it! Better to ask and look foolish to some then not ask and stay stupid.

Happy Birthday Swanny!

May you eat peanuts everyday and not suffer allergies! :D
A little something else for your birthday

I knew it! I knew it! Well, not in the sense of having the slightest idea, but I knew there was something I didn't know.

Oh great…now I can do a two-in-one…. :)

First off, a belated happy and blessed Easter to you and your famil, swanny. I guess you’re well into Easter Monday down-under over there by now.

Secondly, I can't believe a year has already passed. I’m deviating from my usual birthday greeting MO this time so I promise not to sass you, no ‘bash then run’, no teasing you about your age (tho you probably need to file your tooth already)….

So please accept this as my gift (peanut- free of course and have a fire extinguisher ready, just in case):

……Happy Birthday swanny…..keep the flames a-burning... :D

Thanks very much, everyone!

Kind of weird, in a good way, to have my birthday on a public holiday (now I know how my wife feels, having her birthday on Christmas Day). At church that morning, most of my friends weren't sure which to say first, 'Happy Easter' or 'Happy Birthday', so it just kind of ran together into 'HappyEasterHappyBirthday'. By the time the day was over, I was so stuffed full of food and drink, I didn't need to eat until lunchtime on Monday!

The bonus was not having to come into work on Monday!

You're welcome, swanny.....and now for my usual follow-up question: did you get a lot of presents like alcohol or chocolates?

Would you call 9 bottles of wine "a lot"? Yes, I thought so...
Curiously enough, no chocolate... <_< A great book though: "The Book of General Ignorance". All of those pieces of trivia that you think you know, and why they are wrong...

Like, "How many galaxies can you see with the naked eye?", "What is the most dangerous animal (to humans, that is) to have ever lived?", or "Who invented the telephone?" .

Any takers? And if you go and Google the answers, you'll only be cheating yourselves...
