which company's 4% w/v paraformaldehyde you'd buy?
I bought one bottle from BD, but the purity of paraformaldehyde is only 90-93%, is this good enough for in situ hybridyzation?

I think we use Sigma PFA, and use it for in-situ hybridisation in zebrafish with no problems, check what purity this is on their website, its the bog-standard one if they do lots of different types!

PFA is one of those things that, in most applications, you can use with a fairly large margin of error. 90% pure should be fine.

If you're new to in-situs, the #1 piece of advice I can give is to make sure you fully prewarm all your solutions when you're doing the washes at ~66*C. In-situs are finicky and if you don't follow the protocol well they often won't work. ... Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
