we are supposed to have all pictures as CMYK with atleast 300 dpi in our mansucript but submit separately.

I am not good with photoshop at all and I don't know how to do this. so I made a new file with 300 resolution and CMYK color format.

then I tried to open all the pictures in photoshop and move them to the new CMYK file. but the moment I do this the quality drops dramatically. what should I do?

Should I re-save all the pictures from the main sources as CMYK 300 dpi all over? . damn it.

Hey

I use pdfcreator (http://sourceforge.n...cts/pdfcreator/)

Its called pdf creator but converts images directly to tiff that too at the resolution you want. Just goto options, raw and mention the resolution there.

It converts ppt to tiff directly.

Best,
TC
