Hi there,
does yeast like S. cerivisieae grow in standard LB-Media?
I don't need them to grow perfectly, I just want to see colonys on agar plates.

Probably yes. But the lack of added glucose, means it probably won't grow very fast.

I tried it once by mistake.

Done it once with a mate's yeast. Did grow on LB without glucose. Flat, white, and dry-looking (think powder) colonies..
