Hi,
I m wondering whether there is a good way to overlay the water-saturated butanol uniformly when casting the 2D gel, coz i have tried myself but the top level of the gel was not even after polymerized.

with a pasteur pipet (with bulb), we gently express the butanol against the glass plate, pulling the pipet across the plate, and allow it to slowly run down the plate onto the top of the gel.
