The course will cover all processing steps in the analysis of ChIP-Seq and RNA-Seq experiments: base calling, alignment, region identification, integrative bioinformatic and statistical analysis. It will be a mix of lectures and practical computer exercises (ca. 1.5 days and 1 day, respectively).
It addresses bioinformaticians with programming skills and basic understanding of next generation sequencing data.
Familiarity with script languages and the basic technological aspects and biological use cases of HT sequencing is required, knowledge of computer programming and/or of R/Bioconductor will be beneficial.
