i plan to sort cd4 and cd14 cells from human PBMC by MACS, however, the PBMC is not freshly separated, which was frozen in liquid nitrogen, so my problem is that if i thaw the PBMC and sort cd4 or cd14 cells, will the phynotype and function of sorted cells be affected?
please help me! thank you very much!

It should be ok as the marker you use are constantly expressed
we did that in our lab for cd4
