Hi, i used Tri-reagent RT-blood to isolate total RNA from whole blood sample. I followed every steps inside the protocol, but i got none RNA pellet, and ended up no RNA product in my gel.

I used 300 ul whole blood and mix with 900 ul Tri-reagent, then stored in -20 C (as protocol implies) before RNA isolation.

What is the possible problem from your point of view, if any of you had experience of using Tri-reagent BD or Tri-reagent RT to isolate the RNA from whole blood?

Thanks in advance.
