Hi,

I want to study the mutation of a gene. So, do I study the mutation in the DNA sequence or the mRNA sequence? How do I know which one?

it depends what your working on... are you mutation screening or do you know that your mutation causes a change in function of your protein and want to find the mutation thats responsible? is it eukaryote or prokaryote?
