Hello. Does anyone have any information or advice on making mice with tissue specific overexpression of shRNA? Ideally my gene of interest would be floxed and then crossing on the tissue specific Cre mouse would be my first option, however that project will take a year or two. Making a transgenic shRNA mouse would be much faster but I've only seem a couple of papers that have used this strategy. Additionally, lentiviral delivery is not an option because they don't transfect the lung epithelium-which is where I want my knockdown.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
