I have always been using Windows and never had any problem (that I could not solve  ) so will stick to Windows. But, the computer I got here does not speak English and I switched to Linux. I still have Windows though as WinMDI does not function well with Wine.(nor sake) It will be hard for me to downgrade to Mac any time in future.

I still support Microsoft as some part of the money I might spend (or I encourage others to spend :P ) goes here I suppose - affects lives of millions.

Hm, the old and the contemporary windows looks different...

One must presume that long and short arguments contribute to the same end. - Epicurus

That is....if she posts at all.

I have two mac laptops - one running Tiger the other running leopard (which is excellent & has mouse pad gestures). Both have vmware on - vmware has XP and linux installed under it so I have access to both of those. My desktop pc is dual boot - running XP and linux (I change between fedora/ubuntu/gentoo/suse).

after watching the futuristic video posted by BB i've been wondering how many people will be able to use that technology, and i don't mean by the access to these devices but by just looking around i have seen lots of people frustrated by using the 'mighty mouse' by apple, i can't imagine those people using only touch screens

another video i found interesting, and closer to reality, by Davind Merril at MIT: the siftables

ok then....I am all for competition and anything that can possibly kill off iPhone would make me happy too :P . However, it can't have more features than iPhone which can practically do everything even your taxes... so what's the catch? It can't be free....

It is more feature rich than the iphone - for a start it has copy and paste as well as running multiple apps running at once. Oh and the dev kit is going to give developers full hooks into the system.
