Hi all,
I am using a Promega Universal Riboclone cDNA Synthesis Kit to perform reverse transcription on my mRNA samples. However, the kit that I purchased is almost 3 months past its expiration today (expirationL November 2008). I am a bit tight on my budget, but I was wondering if it would be approvable to still use it right now?
Thanks for your help in advance-
using cDNA synthesis kit past expiration???

This probably depends on how valuable your sample and your time are. It will likely work fine, but if you were doing clinical work, e.g., you wouldn't want to use it.

If stored correctly the kit should be ok for a few months after expiration. I would first check it out by running the control RNA included in the kit.
