Hi,
I'm searching information about guanidinium thiocyanate and how it can be applied in SDS-PAGE to reduce protein-protein interactions (my protein sample is an aggregated form).
Thanks for any help in advance

GuCN and SDS are not compatible.

thanks for your reply,my point is  GuCN  is a general protein denaturant so I can use it for my aggregated protein to reduce protein-protein interactions ,and the commonly used method is Guanidinium thiocyanate-phenol-chloroform extraction(as It is not strictly  to use phenol or chloroform in extracting) and followed by SDS -PAGE!
