Hi
1- could any body tell me if I can see the dig labeled RNA probe on the gel
2- which kind of gel should I use, denaturing ( formaldehyde ) gel or normal agarose gel??

1- transfer the RNA in the gel to a nitrocellulose membrane (like in northern blotting) and then develop the membrane eg. with ECL reagent (like on western blot); i never tried in-gel dection.
2- agarose gel is fine, but lower resolution, acrylamide gels provide better resolution
