Hi,

I'm designing primers for mutagenesis and accoriding to the manual probided,

1) the Tm of the primers should be 78deg or greater
2) minimum GC% of 40.

My primers have  GC% of 64 and a tm of 87deg.  Is this alright to proceed with?

Thanks
SF

we go to stratagene website and enter the sequence for gene for site directed mutagenesis. The program will give you the primer sequence to order and you order those primers. and it should work.
