I have to write an essay for my graduate class (~25 pages) on a topic in neuromuscular research or disease but I'm having a hard time finding something of interest. Does anyone know of any new or emerging ideas, something interesting? Anything muscle or neuron related can be done, or even a supporting cell provided there is some related neuromuscular pathology (MS for example). There has to be a molecular emphasis however.
