hey hobs! yeah, i think it's pre-christmas nostalgia, considering this is the season of the year with the most workload... how's the cycling going? where's casey lynch?

cycling is sleeping because the weather sucks...and casey is busy working on her new pencil pusher career
so not much activity anymore except the tech threads of course

Hello everyone!
I'm Alexandre, a french bio-engineering student currently in double diploma at Cranfield University and looking for a Phd for the next year.
I'm more in stem cells, cell culture, bioreactors ect... and one of my dream is to be traped alone in a room with my cells and a confocal microscope <3 .
I'm really glad to have found this forum!
Have a nice day!
Hello Ollorin-Alex, you're weird. But I like you, welcome !

hey guys!
it's been so long I thought I'd re-introduce myself
My name is TJ, finished my PhD in summer 2012, those were the most exciting years of my life so far. I've been working at private industry for about 20 months now. I'm more of a manager rather than a scientist and manage over 300 people at peak times! Can you believe it? haha!
Wow good for you TJ ! Do you miss doing experiments at the bench?

Indeed I should !
Hello everyone, I'm gvb. I'm preparing a PhD in a lab that studies cell death and the cortex of the brain. I'm fairly new to Bioforum and I've been having a lot of fun in the chit chat section here since I joined. It's nice meeting you guys, it's like the lunch journal club with PhD students. You come to have fun when you have some free time.

And I thought we'd have another helping hand in the technical forum parts !
Casandra and Hobglobin, it's all your fault. You have led this aspiring new forum member down the doomed Chitchat way.
Il dort. Quoique le sort fût pour lui bien étrange,
Il vivait. Il mourut quand il n'eut plus son ange;
La chose simplement d'elle-même arriva,
Comme la nuit se fait lorsque le jour s'en va.

But don't exclude yourself from culpability, Tabs....you're as much a very willing and active participant down there. Besides, what's lab life without the lounge or the watercooler area where one can relax, unwind, blow off steam and get to hang out with pretty cool... uhmm...and wise people
So gvbsy....welcome to Bioforum..the best forum in the whole forum universe......
